A human finger is naturally an electric conductor which can draw a slight amount of current creating a voltage drop. The current drifts to the electrodes on the four corners on the PCAP touchscreen panel. The PCAP touch controller precisely calculates the proportion of current correspondingly to various screen sizes & resolutions then figures the X/Y axis coordinate of a touch point.
