Public Safety is using many methods to communicate between agencies. The commercial deployment of an all IP Network (4G LTE) with high BW and Low Latency has changed what information First Responders can access instantly. A combination of licensed and unlicensed spectrum access technologies is expected to be used to increase the mobile network efficiency.
This demo is to showcase the Ng Connect members’ public safety applications using the Android Galaxy Tablet customized framework connected to the Alcatel-Lucent Wi-Fi radio access point and backend network services, simulating seamless switch over from Wi-Fi AP to Wi-Fi AP using Alcatel-Lucent 5780 Dynamic Service Controller policy management. LiveViewGPS offers award winning tracking solutions for fleet management and in the law enforcement business provides the edge in surveillance and covert operations. iGoLogic’s industrial multi-touch PC panel display is used to display network operations center functionality, integrated with a proprietary recognition engines for analysis of video streams for identifying "people of interest" by biometric and personal characteristics.
